My Story
‘’I graduated from the Crawford College of Art and Design, Cork in 1989 with a Degree in Fine Art and Higher Diploma in Art and Design Teaching. I am the sixth generation of stone cutters from Co.Clare and I continue to sculpt and paint today. I work mostly in Carrara marble,Portland and Kilkenny limestone. My work is inspired by nature and the human form. ‘’
Lynn O’Callaghan – Artist
‘’Cork born artist, Lynn, completed her degree in Fine Art at The Cork Crawford College of Art & Design in 1989. Since then she has completed both public and private commissions throughout Ireland. As a sculptor, working mostly in Limestone, Marble and Portland, her semi-abstract forms are inspired by nature and very much influenced by the work of Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore. As well as a visual artist, Lynn is also a letter cutter in stone and makes nameplates for homes and public places. Her studio is at “Inniscarra, 5 Grey Gates, Mt.Merrion, Co. Dublin ‘’
